This year I’ve decided I want to crochet my Halloween costume, which means I will be taking a little break from pattern writing to focus on completing my costume by October 31st.
Most of these patterns I’ve made fairly recently – while others are still on my to-do list for this season.
Let the race against time begin!
1. Green Ghost by Carolyne Brodie
This was such a fun and cute pattern! – It’s a great make for Halloween and you can even leave it up until Christmas 🙂 Or, if you’re like me, you can have Oogie hang out with you all year long.
2. Hocus Pocus Book Cover by Crochet by Coraggio
Booooook! Okay, this is probably my favorite project that I’ve made this year. I’m a huge Hocus Pocus fan and this turned out so. incredibly. awesome.
I have followed Rose & Alder on Instagram for a long time – admiring all of her adorable witches and spooky makes. When I found out that she decided to release the pattern, I had to jump on it. These are just so darn cute and there are endless possibilities when making them.
4. Howl- the littlest ghost by Café del Craft
How cute is this little guy? They work up in a flash and would make great Halloween favors or decorations for your home.
5. Spooky Batty Bat by Crafty Bunny Bun
I really enjoyed this simple bat. I’ve been on a purple and lime green kick this spooky season and I’m thinking this little guy might need a lime green friend.
6. Mr Maggot Mouth by Jennifer Borchert
Here’s another one for all of The Nightmare Before Christmas fans. I haven’t had an opportunity to make this one myself, but it’s on my to-do list. Jennifer has some other amazing spooky beanie patterns available on Raverly and Etsy. I highly recommend you check her out.
7. Sally Skulls Pullover by Devine Debris
Skulls! Need I say more? This is going to be the first project I complete after making my Halloween costume. Amber also had a skull cardigan in the works that I’m really looking forward to.
8. Witch’s Cauldron by Maro Kakali
Purple and lime green. Need I say more? This is going on display with my Howl- the littlest ghost and my Spooky Batty Bat.
9. Frankenstein’s Monster by Spin a Yarn Crochet
If amigurumi is not your thing, this adorable Frankstein might be for you. Kawaii cuddlers are worked in rows and then joined together by single crocheting around both panels and stuffing. Easy peasy and super cute!
10. Halloween Eyeball Coaster by Fay Lyth
These eyeball coasters are so fun! And are spooky, but not too spooky, and would be a great addition for a Halloween party or just to leave out on end tables for a hot cup of coffee or tea each Halloween.
I hope you enjoy each of these patterns as much as I do. I absolutely love the ones that I’ve already made and I look forward to working on the others very soon.
Note: None of the above-mentioned patterns are the property of Karissa Crochets It All. Some of the pictures shown above are photos of my own work using the listed patterns, while the other photos belong to the pattern maker.
