Crochet Pencil Bookmark – FREE Crochet Pattern

A couple of years ago, I created one of my most popular patterns, the Crochet Pencil Scarf Pattern. Since then, I have wanted to create similar patterns to accompany the scarf, and I thought a Crochet Pencil Bookmark would be a great addition!

This pattern is available for free here on my blog, but you can purchase an ad-free copy in my Etsy or Ko-Fi shops.

Enjoy!

Materials:

  • Size E/3.5 mm crochet hook
  • Worsted weight yarn in pink, gray, yellow, tan, and black
  • Scissors
  • Tapestry needle

Measurements:  1.75″ x 6″ blocked

Skill Level: Beginner

Notes:

  • This pattern is written in U.S. terminology.
  • This pattern can be easily adjusted to create a longer bookmark – simply add more rows to the “yellow” portion of the bookmark.
  • When changing colors, create a Sc on the last St of your row, but do not yarn over and pull through the 2 loops on your hook with the same color – instead, pull your new color through the 2 loops to finish off your Sc .

Abbreviations:

  • Ch —> Chain
